RSS Feed Experiment/Project
Mar 20 2008, 7:35 PM EDT | Post edited: Mar 20 2008, 7:35 PM EDT
I have put together a list of medical/nursing journals and their corresponding RSS Table of Content Feed URLs in an excel file. Check the new page created, "RSS Feed Project" http://mlawikiclass.wetpaint.com/page/RSS+Feed+Project It is no where near completion, but I hope to have a very comprehensive list so that when a patron asks if they can subscribe to a TOC feed for a particular journal, I can quickly refer to this excel file and point them in the right direction. I'm sure there is a database out there that has this already, so I may be reinventing the wheel, but I also thought it would be a good expriment for wiki collaboration.

A very good idea and certainly very helpful. I haven't gotten as involved with RSS feeds for journal ToCs, but I have made my own attempt to teach our library users some of the range of options available for keeping current. I've attached my lesson plan to the "RSS Feed Project you created (http://mlawikiclass.wetpaint.com/page/RSS+Feed+Project) Do you find this valuable?
