Wiki to add
Mar 19 2008, 6:47 PM EDT
I'm feeling very dense - maybe it's delayed reaction to the time change or allergies, but how do I add my wiki to the list? I clicked on every tab I could find and tried the help screens but no luck. Or do I just list it here and some gremlins add it to the list??Here it is: devilishlyhandsomedog.com I can definitely see the utility of this for non-work projects, but not so much for work. We have had dismal interaction from people on our library blog, so I wouldn't imagine that a wiki would be much more successful. Although producing one on scholarly communications might be used by the campus community, and certainly creating one for the Information Desk of all the policies and procedures that you only need once every 6 months would be wonderful. It would help the new folks and keep us oldersters up on all the changes that take place around here. That's going to be my next project. Do you find this valuable?

Go to the class wiki http://mlawikiclass.wetpaint.com/. Join the wiki. Click on the MLA Web 2.0 101 Blogs List page http://mlawikiclass.wetpaint.com/page/MLA+Web+2.0+101+BlogsClick the EasyEdit button to edit the page. Type in the name of your blog. To make your blog name linkable, use your mouse to highlight the name of your blog. Then click “Link” in the EasyEdit toolbar and paste the URL into the box that says “Link to.” Then click “Add link.” Click “Save” on the EasyEdit toolbar to save your work. To list the wiki you created go to the MLA Web 2.0 101 Wikis List page http://mlawikiclass.wetpaint.com/page/MLA+Web+2.0+101+Wikis And repeat the same procedure you did for listing your blog.
